Missionary Spotlight

Greetings from the Lees! We have been in the ward since 2011 and feel like we have found heaven on earth! Matt and I met in Chile on a study abroad in 2002 and Matt has provided us a good life ever since - from owning a car lot to building trampoline and adventure parks! I (Jodi) work per diem as a Speech Therapist at the rehab floor of Intermountain Medical Center and love being a stay at home mom most days .

Savvy just turned 20 and is living her best life as a missionary in the Dominican Republic with plans to return to Utah State and marry a very wealthy boy sometime soon thereafter. Solomon is a senior and has retired his football jersey after many years of hard work, dedication and broken bones. He plans on majoring in Aerospace Engineering after serving a mission. Marian is in 9th grade and loves playing percussion, piano and all sports - especially snowboarding and wakeboarding. Jenna is in 7th grade and loves all the sports as well, plus guitar, piano, some drums and being with friends. India is in 5th grade and is beloved by all.As a family we love to travel, ski/snowboard, go boating, horseback riding and basically play way more than we should! Even though we have our challenges, as every family does, we strive to follow our Savior and He has blessed us with immense joy in our journey! We know that angels are watching over our family and have had specific experiences where we have felt them in our lives. The temple helps us connect to these angels and reminds us that our family is much bigger than just those around our dinner table. We are so grateful to know that families are forever, that God is just as invested in raising these kids as we are, and that through Christ, there is always a reason to smile, always a reason to hope and always a choice to experience joy!
